Mini Bio

Eleni Exarchou is an interdisciplinary artist, who lives and works in Athens, Greece. She works with a vast range of different content concerning Human rights, such as migration and population movement which is inextricably linked to climate change, equality and other various factors. She works with different materials and mediums mainly in installation. She has participated in exhibitions in the USA, Spain, Germany, France, Greece. She has taught in primary and secondary education. She has taught as a scientific associate at the Centre of Intercultural studies of the School of Philosophy and at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, in the field of aesthetic studies and the integration of the children of repatriates and migrants in primary education.She has founded 64artstudio were she gives workshops. She has taught at Southeastern College. She was a member of the Organising Committee of the International Conference of the Visual Arts SYCHRONIA in Anogeia Crete. She participated in the International Art Symposium CONCECUENCIAS in Salamanca Spain where worked for a month with other artists. She received an MFA, Master of Fine Arts from A.A.U, C. and a BFA, Bachelor of Fine Arts from San Francisco Art Institute, SFAI, Ca.
